Gayle is the founder and director of Live Free Ministry and Live Free Counseling, that operates under the umbrella of the Common Care Counseling Ministry at The Father's House in Vacaville, CA. She teaches a variety of workshops based on her books, trains Live Free counselors, and has been a guest speaker at a number of church conferences.
Professionally, Gayle is an Alcohol and Drug Counselor with 30 years experience in private practice (22 of those years spent on staff at a local church). She is also a PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) Counselor through The American Association of Christian Counselors/Armed Forces. Her practice is based on Christian meditation, which focuses on healing the inner wounds of the heart.
Currently, Gayle works part-time from the comfort of her home. Her clientele are usually referrals from those who have personally been helped by Gayle's counseling methods. She provides an amazing amount of warmth and acceptance to those who come to her for counsel and has a gift for listening to the spoken as well as the unspoken. Gayle's greatest attribute in counseling others is helping them identify their gifting and uncovering their true identity by using her prophetic gifting. She also has a gift of being able to quickly determine the core issue of a person's pain which brings about immediate hope for their healing.

Gayle is a native Californian, born and raised in Napa. She was recently widowed from her husband of 38 years, Francis Belanger, an Air Force Retiree. Together they had 7 children, 14 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs. Gayle is also a cancer and heart attack survivor, who by the grace of God, not only survived but has since thrived. In her spare time you can find her spending time with friends, enjoying her library full of research material, working out at the gym doing, or doing her favorite pilates classes.
